Cookies. Oreos. Brownie.
What more could you ask for?
Also seen as "Slutty Brownies" all over the internet, these are a perfect pick me up treat. Here's what you'll need to do:
Cookie Dough Layer
See previous recipe for an easy and delicious cookie dough
Oreo Layer
2 packs Oreo Cookies- regular or double stuffed
Brownie Layer
10 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/4 cups caster sugar
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour

1. Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line 9x9 inch baking tin.
2. Prepare cookie dough, and layer evenly at base of tin.
3. Layer the Oreo cookies on top of the cookie dough.
4. For the brownie mixture, melt the butter over a medium heat, adding in sugar and cocoa powder once butter fully melted, whisk to combine. Add the salt, vanilla and eggs and continuously whisk until the eggs are combined. Add the flour and chocolate chips, and continue to mix.
5. Pour brownie mix on top of the cookie dough and Oreo layers. Sprinkle with extra chocolate chips.
6. Bake for 30-35 mins, until knife comes out clean. Leave to cool for around 2 hours to allow brownie to rest.
7. Cut into pieces, and serve.
These decedent treats went down really well amongst housemates, and office colleagues. Just a warning, sweet tooth needed to enjoy! Try warming them slightly and serving with ice cream for a quick and easy dessert to indulge in.
